we be jammin

The weather has turned out to be really nice here for memorial day weekend. It was cloudy with a little rain yesterday, but that’s ok because it wasn’t hot. Today was a little warmer, but just cool enough that leaving the windows open was just fine. Quite a change from last week when it was so hot i couldn’t even sleep. 

Would of liked to of found something really fun to do this weekend, but then again having a relaxing 3 days off of work is just fine. I’m dog sitting this weekend for my new little buddy thomas. He and Jordy have followed me around the house all weekend, both i think trying to protect me from the other judging by all the growling going on. All in all though, they have gotten along great and i’m sure are both happy to have somebody else’s butt to sniff. Thomas sleeps underneath the covers, luckily i haven’t rolled over and killed him yet while sleeping. He has managed to wake me up at 6am both mornings so far, i’m hoping he’ll let me sleep a bit longer tomorrow. 

Took a really long bike ride today. I found a new path. I was hoping to get out on a mountain this weekend, but i’m probably not ready both equipment wise and skill wise to go out on my own and do that. The smooth bike paths of scottsdale will have to do for now. 

I’ve eaten like such crap lately. I really need to learn how to cook. Especially getting close to my 30’s and single, i probably can’t continue to eat fast food so much. 

I should listen to Reggae music more often. It always makes me feel better.

I’ve realized that i there isn’t a lot i have to write about these days. It’s not that i don’t have stuff going on in my life that might be interesting, but i guess it’s stuff that is better to keep out of my blog until it’s safe to write about them. 

I now own 3 cd’s. I bought 2 on friday night. They are Dashboard Confessional and a guy named Brett Dennon. Both of them i really like….but i probably need to dip into a different genre for my next purchase. I almost bought an ipod too, but i just can’t pull the trigger for some reason. Maybe i’ll just wait until something better comes out.
